if your bestfriends, that must mean that you two can talk to eachother about everything/anything, well then talk to her, about everything first ask her who she likes & stuff like that and at the end just ask her how she feels about you,

Did you guys actually date or was it just awkward because she knew she you were into her and she didnt feel the same way? I would say just be there for her.. If shes just flirting with other guys theres gonna come a time when she opens her eyes and decides she wants more than just a guy to flirt with. If you really like this girl you will find it worth it to wait.
