What is it called when you dont eat red meat?

It’s called vegitarianism. It’s a commitment you must withhold. But you have to have a reason, or else it isn’t commitment. I stopped eating red meat because I felt bad about it, but I started eating it again, although it still makes me guilty -_-

You’re called a non-red meat eater? There’s no term for that. A vegetarian is someone who doesnt eat meat. Well chicken and fish are meat.

A vegetarian doesn’t eat ANY meat at all, so that isn’t the proper term. Some would say you’re a semi-vegetarian, but I honestly believe that you’re either one or the other and that there’s no half point. So if you eat meat sometimes, then you’re not a vegetarian. You’re just excluding red meat from your diet.

You would be considered a red-meat vegetarian, like me :) It means you dont eat red meat but you still eat poultry, fish, dairy products, and eggs.

A lacto-ovo vegetarian (the one most people just call vegetarian) eats dairy products, fish, eggs, and vegetables.

An ovo-vegetarian eats eggs, fish, and vegetables but no dairy products, red meat, or poultry.

A lacto-vegetarian eats dairy products, fish, and vegetables but no eggs, red meat, or poultry.

A vegan eats does not eat any red meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products, fish, or anything else that is made from an animal (like jello!)
