What is a 'RAM'?

Thank you slavaim. I have had Adobe After Effects on my computer before but I had to re-install windows and I lost it :/ I never received that error the last time I did it so I was a little bit confused. But you advice is very helpful :)

First of all you must be knowing Configuration of your Computer. that is whts the Processor Speed (in GHz), Whts your RAM(random Access Memory) size…

RAM is temporary memory of Computer needed by computer to work.

Now as you are facing such problem. then you must either checkout if there is any folder already present in the Program files which might be disturbing Installation(As you said you were working with Adobe Earlier too without any error, also must know the earlier version of Adobe and Latest version used by u)…

If same error continues then ask you Computer Engineer to upgrade your RAM…N everything will be fine…

Pleasure :) They’ve probably upgraded the software so you need a faster computer. If you could find an older version somewhere of it it should still work on your system. If you need any help with what to buy let me know. As I say you can get ram from any computer shop, and it’s not hard to install, you just open up your computer and literally click it onto the motherboatd, and that’s it.

You’re getting very confusing and contradictory advice here. Basically ignore tiaraimports as much of it was wrong, (no offense). camarodude was right, except it’s not that expensive, it’s just a little stick of hardware that you stick into your PC onto the motherboard. It’s really not difficult to do, anyone with a tiny bit of knowledge of computers can do it. It’s not that expensive either, about 20£ for a gig stick, and it will improve the performance of your computer dramatically.
