What does my recurring dream mean (islam) ?

I have started having a recurring dream about a jinn. I’ll be in my room and all of a sudden a powerful force will take over my room and I can sense the jinn is there doing it. Then if I try to escape out of my door it forces the door shut and my bedroom becomes windy. Then after several attempts I finally over power the jinn and escape, then it slams the door shut behind me. My behaviour towards the jinn is very rude and over confident I take the mickey out of it almost and taunt it in these dreams and the same dream has happened at least 4 times now, last time that it happened I woke up with a red mark on my body that hurt. What does this dream mean??

I am Christian, so I do not know these things as fact, but I respect your religion and my best friend is Muslim, so I did a little research and came up with this information.

Human beings are superior to Jinns. The Jinns can never harm human beings if tackled in the right manner. When a jinn starts to like someone he follows him or her around. If he does something extraordinary and that person gets frightened, the Jinn will tease him more but if he reacts in a brave manner, the Jinn will disappear.

Some more tips from the Qur’aan: · Try not to stay ‘Naa paak’ (in the state of impurity) for a prolonged period.

· Perform salaah five times daily;

· Constant rememberance of Allah through zikr (the heart of a zakir is alive whereas a non-zakir’s heart is dead);

· If confronted by a Jinn then recite Auzu billah …; Lahawla wa la quwwata… and the last two chapters of Qur’aan, Qul auzu birrabinas and Qul auzu birabil falaq;

· Recite daily a few pages of Surah Baqara as shaytaan does not have the ability to enter a room in which Surah Baqara is read.
