My stomach has been urting the past 4 days and today my stool is black is that normal

Agreed with kdsmm, get it checked out by a doctor. Black stool usually indicates that there is blood in your stool.

Black stool that looks like it has coffee grounds in it or has the consistency of wet coffee grounds is a sign of intestinal bleeding, and requires immediate medical treatment. Pain in the abdomen followed by a change to black stool should be brought up to your physician ASAP!
