Answer #1

I wish I had.

Answer #2

It’s only a period and women have been toughing them out since the beginning of time.

Go to school…it’s not like you have a flu.

Answer #3

Yeah, stay home because when I started mine I was at school, and wasn’t even aware of it! I thought it was just discharge [I felt really wet], but when I got home and used the bathroom…OH MY. So stay home so you don’t go through the same thing, or experience humiliation.

Answer #4

I went to school on my first one. It’s part of life. It’s also normal to be nervous the first time you have it at school, but the sooner you can get used to it, the better. and you can take painkillers for cramps with you.

Answer #5

I got my first one on Christmas Eve when I was 12 so there wasn’t school but it depends on you. I’d go to school but if you’re afraid of leakage or something then stay home and save yourself the embarrasment.

Answer #6

first of all, congrats! I would definatly stay home for the first day, even if it sounds a little silly. I started on a Friday after school .. so I had a whole weekend to adjust, get to know how often I must change my pad/tampon and a lot about my flow in general. I was still a tad nervous about leaking and such Monday when I was back, so it won’t hurt you to get a free day to just relax and adjust to the whole thing!

 Best of luck girrll :)
