What Do You Think About This?

Hi, I’m writing a short story which I hope will become a short animated film in the future. This is a SHORT DESCRIPTION of the story. You know, like something you’d read on the back of a DVD. I can’t type in the whole thing.

TITLE: “Home Is…” DESCRIPTION: For a year now, a young 10-year old boy, who has lost everything, has been living alone in an alleyway trying to survive by anyway he can except, by stealing. Then, one day a poor 29-year old women, struggling through life and trying to make a living, finds him and takes him to her apartment where he meets the rest of the family. Tragic pasts, miracles, and knowing what “home” really is. (Still working on the last line of description)

The story has MANY happy moments in it. It is not as depressing as it sounds. I hate extremely depressing things.

Some fun & funny moments. Like a big snowball fight, family food fight, charades & more. The family, which the boy is staying at, are very cheery. Especially, the 8-year old girl. She’s hyper, cheerful, and full of energy. The family act like “one, big, happy family.” Knowing that thinking about the past & hard times would just make things worst. “Think positive & always look at the bright side of things.” A quote from the mother, Heather.

The ending is happy.

Please, tell me what you think of it. Rating?

Send me a message if you have any questions about the story, characters, or anything at all.

Thank you.

I was thinking the same thing too. :) I thought maybe that he finds out the woman is actually his aunt. But, I’m still open for more ideas for the ending. Thanks!
