Do we really have good canidates for prez

How do you feel about the presidental election? And the canidates? I mean I think we have some good choices but it seems like all they want to do is argue with each other They both seem to forget the issues such as the economy and health care

Does anyone else have a opinion about it?

Answer #1

Yes, we do. Much better than recent presidential elections. The 2000 and 2004 elections, with choices between Bush, Gore, and Kerry, were embarassing since they all suck. The 1996 election was just a joke. The last truly exciting election was 1992, and this one is even better.

Answer #2

I think either McCain or Obama would be ok - there are things I like and dislike about both.

…but I prefer Bob Barr.

Answer #3

yea I like obama too :]

Answer #4

cmjcarcam That’s where my problem with the bible comes into play, it was man-written. How do we know it’s God’s perfect word - we don’t. So how do you know God things being gay is a sin - we don’t. Anyways, whole different discussion there. It’s sad that people won’t acknowledge their love. Love is love, no matter what sex you may be.

Answer #5

I feel kinda bad for them because theyy can’t marry who they want to like I noe it says that a man and women should get married in the bible but it’s like wow

Answer #6

Actually, Obama has kept pretty much on mark in discussing the economy, health care, education, etc. In the last debate, several times, he stressed that the political discussions should be about the issues. McCain is more inclined, because he is down in the polls, to keep talking about non-issue, smoke screen topics.

Answer #7

maddie1414 Wait so he said that marriage should be between a man and a woman - then he said he would support gay marriage?

Am I misunderstanding you here.

Answer #8

umm well all I can say is that if you have the right to vote you should vote

Answer #9

I won’t be happy with a president until they are FOR gay marriage’s. Although, one of them very well could be, I haven’t followed this election to well.

Answer #10

I never said I wouldn’t vote, I just said I wont LIKE a president until they are FOR gay marriage. I will vote for the lesser of the two evils just because I have the right to vote and I dont want to just throw that away.

Answer #11

I think you’re right! I still don’t know who or even if I will vote. If this is the best this country has to offer I think we’re all screwed :) Good question :)

Answer #12

(btw, IF THERE’S A PROBLEM: YO! HE’LL SOLVE IT!)

lmao! if you don’t get that…giant sigh learn the classic musics baybee.

Answer #13

HA- everyonneee (almost) has an opinion about it. :)

I think that Obama is best for our country. ♥ CHANGE.

Answer #14

oo mandyloo I wasn’t talking about you :] I mean like some people have the freedom to vote but yet don’t that’s acitizens way of getting what they need to be done for their selves or for their family

I mean I’m only 13 and I would love to have the right to vote lol

Answer #15

STOP THE MCCAIN TRAIN! ♥ ehee. yes, I’m obsessed with little presidential saying-thingies.

I do follow the election (a bit.)

Obama is against gay marriage. In an interview with the Chicago Daily Tribune, Obama said, “I’m a Christian. And so, although I try not to have my religious beliefs dominate or determine my political views on this issue, I do believe that tradition, and my religious beliefs say that marriage is something sanctified between a man and a woman.” He said he would support civil unions between gay and lesbian couples, as well as letting individual states determine if marriage between gay and lesbian couples should be legalized.

Answer #16

no we dont. they boyyh s*ck

Answer #17

I think we have pretty good canidates and yea they have forgotten about the main issues but I still think Obama Rocks!!!

Answer #18

I think obama shoud win. and majority of politics IS arguing with the other candidate.
