My friend's Grandma died on her birthday

My friends grandma, who she has been living with her whole life died on her birthday (my friends birthday) im going to the funeral today and I dont know what to do! I feel so bad and I dont know what to do!!! HELP!

When you walk up to someone at a funeral in the line, you say “I’m very sorry for your loss”, and just stay somber. Respond accordingly to how your friend is acting. If she or he looks like they need a distraction, then offer them a distraction. If they need a hug, give them a hug. Don’t over do it…just be there for them in their time of need in whatever way you can. You’re a good friend for going today.
