Can I really date this guy? Is it possible? Or I'm dreaming?

I live in Portugal and I’m crazy about an actor !!! I’m 17 years old and he is 18.Everytime that I see him, I felt embarrassed, I laugh a lot without knowing why,I don’t listen people if they are talking to me, and my HEART EXPLODES! And I don’t know him personally,I only see him on television.I can see both of us dating.My sister says that is impossible,and that is not gonna happen,but I trully believe that we can date. We even live in the same city (Lisbon), the city is small and it’s easy for people to meet.I’ve had some boyfriends, but I never felt this for a person that I don’t even know. I read interviews with him, and found that we have much in common and he has no girlfriend.I even send e-mails to a television show to say that I wanted to meet him, but I had no answer and I will not give up.Do you guys think that I’m dreaming too much, or do these things all have a meaning? We can date?

I am sorry to say I gotta be honest with you n’ say that I wouldn’t give it high hopes. I wouldn’t call it impossible, but that the possibilities are very very slim.

First of all you only know of him through a tv screen, although his personality can be a totally different one from the interviews and movies. He probably also got other fans who’d die to get a date with him, so for him it must be kinda of scary to rechieve love letters from girls he don’t know.

You may feel like this about him now, but eventually, if you never get to be an acquaintance of his, then you’ll lose your interest and realize you need to move on.

I know it’s not really what you wanted to hear, but think many of us have been there, being in love or felted strongly attracted to an actor or actress. If you are going to not give up and actually go the distance of slim possibilities, please do share it… it would be remarkable and inspiering :)… all I wanna say now is good luck ;)
