what can I do about an older guy?

There is an older boy who likes me. He’s 24 and im 16. I know it sounds terrible as if I had heard this automatically I would think discusting! But he is so nice, kind and caring. He had told my cousin that he had really liked me, so she told him my age and he said he would look after me etc. I act and look much older than I am but I still dont know what to do about him. People might think that he would be using me for sex, but seriously what boy my age doesn’t want sex! I like him so much and have seen how caring he is with me. Please give me your personal advice on what to do :) thanks xx

girl , not a good idea at all yes he really could be nice but think why would a 24 year old want with a minor when there are plenty of single 24 year olds ..I’m not being mean I’d just not go there..are your friends saying its okayyy.let alone your parents? its kinda fishy girl..find out more about him.

I say go with your heart. But becareful not to get in trouble. I’m 8 years older than my girlfriend and we get along great.

I dont think its a good idea at all. ifyall ever had sex..your still a minor and he could go to jail. I say forget the 24 year old and go after someone not 8 years older then you…

While I agree with the comment above me, it is ultimately your choice. Talk to someone you trust about it, and see if he is truly trustworthy. You must get to know him, so go on a date or something. Dates are ways to get to know the person better, if he isnt who you thought he was, then dont go out with him anymore, thats what I thnk. Good luck
