What are the risks

I have surgery on my knee on the 19th of july, I have to have a Meniscal Repair, what are the risks? I can’t find much info on the net and I’m freaking out because I really don’t like hospitals or any forms of surgery

ok, firstly. yoour doctor has a duty to clearly and in laymens terms explain what is being done to you. speak to your doc or nurse in charge of your case…because identifying risks etc are unique to each individual…

and hospitals are fine, make sure the staff wash there hand in front of you! you don’t want an nosocomial-infection…that’s the only thing that worried me about being in hospital, but you can have some influence in that…

and it’s on my birthday, thats got to be a good sign hasn’t it? ;OD
