what are the risks of beeing a flight attendant ??

i am dooing a project on it and i need to know the risks…..like i knwo plane crashing and all that but is there more stress, head aches, pains somewere…..anything like that or more

hi dealing with rowdy passengers who have had too much too drink could be stressful,dealing with nervous passengers who are scared of flying,a terrrorist hijacking the plane, could all be stressful

The job is very stressful. They have to act in several roles, they cater to the passengers, they have to attend to the safety of the passengers, they often have to help passengers who are disabled, those who have anxiety issues, they have to know what to do in case of a medical emergency (say they need to get oxygen), they act as clean up if someone is vomiting or whatever. They are basically acting as waitresses, nurses, therapists, cleaners all rolled into one. They are at high risk of sxual harassment and verbal abse. It is hard to balance the roles they have to play, they are often on the move which makes it hard when you have a partner and children. They are at high risk for depression, anxiety and s*icide.
