What are the odds of only having a seizure once?

My boyfriend had a seizure while we were driviing down the highway, It lasted around a minute his eyes were in his head, he looked blue, and he was drooling…The doctors dont think it will happen again so there considering it a confulsion. Has anyone heard of only having one seizure…? Also he was up all that night playing guitar hero, and drinking then went to work at 6 am to weld…Could that really cause somthing like that if he has never had one before???

my brother has had 2 seizures, 2 or 3, when he was around 7 and 8 years old. they havent come bac since then, but I guess it depends on your genes 2. if your boyfriend’s family doesn’t have any history of seizures, I dont think he’ll be at a high risk for another one. just a guess, hope it helped:)
