Leg and face cramps - Is it also Light Seizure?

I sometimes have leg cramps and it hurts me very much. It usually happens when I am sleeping at night. Besides, I usually have my face cramped for a while; it is not hurt. Is it also seizure?

Answer #1

There is also a thing called restless legs syndrome which can cause tingling in the legs but not in everyone one. Not a seizure at like any I have encountered. But I not a dr and you probably should ask yours to be certain.

Answer #2

Ya, it’s probably dehydration. Or you just went swimming for a few hours. If I go swimming and stay in the water for hours at a time, that’ll do it for me.

Answer #3

Drink fluids, mostly water, during the day. Do it BEFORE you get dehydrated. Many don’t know they haven’t had enough water until CHARLEY hits you at night. Excessive physical activity when you aren’t used to it will trigger cramps. Be sure and stretch and warm up before taking off and running or other strenuous activities. A few times during October, when hunting season starts, I take off up the mountain and spend the whole day walking around guiding hunters and usually the first night, OOOHHH NOOO, didn’t get enough water in me! It hurts, can’t and don’t dare move to set off another “grab ya.” Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Not a seizure!
