Yes of course they come in your room and ask you things, how else would they diagnose or help you if you were in here.

I’m sure it will be a long time before you actually go into a hospital - and by that time you will be fine. a lot of people are nervous - but just bring someone with you and have them stay with you while your in there.

Yes, the Dr’s make their “rounds” or seeing their patients usually at least once a day and maybe more. They do come in and ask questions, how are u feeling, any changes etc. They discuss your condition with u (and your parents if underage. Or other family members present if you are older and he has authorization to speak with them from u). Nurses will be in/out throughout the day and night. Giving you your medications, checking I’ve bags, CNA’s taklng your Vital signs, etc. Lots of people have what is called “White Coat Hypertension” which basically means that a person who’s blood pressure (BP) is usually normal gets so stressed out by seeing the Dr their. BP is elevated. Your condition sounds a lot more severe but is not necessarily “abnormal”. Perhaps you have never had to be hospitalized before as you said and just do not know what to expect and that upsets you tremendously. If you are really sick when you are hospitalized, the last thing you will be thinking about is being there, particularly if you are in severe pain. It may surface as your condition is stabilized and hopefully you won’t have quite the reaction you think you will If you ever have a planned hospitalization, ask if you can have a tour of the unit and the patient rooms so that there will be some familiarity once you are admitted. Bring something from home that makes you feel good and a little more secure. Hope this helped! «{=
