Weight loss in your thighs

I do about 20/25 min of cardio 5 days a week and 3 days a week I work my legs by doing squats, lunges, ab/adductors, leg presses. I have been working out for almost a year now and have seen weight loss and loss of inches everywhere else but not a difference in my thighs. What am I doing wrong or what should I try? I am looking for thinner leaner thighs and reduce them about 2 to 3 inches. I watch what I eat and I am 5’1” and 125 lbs.

you may be losing fat in your thighs, but gaining muscle. doing leg presses or anything with weights is going to give you more muscles mass. if you don’t want to bulk up in that area, try something that will tone your thighs instead of add mass. try pilates and/or running.

Answer #2

Your body may have gotten use to the fact that you are doing the exact same routine may have an effect. Also you have to build your upper body as well. Also you might to check and re-check your form. Always fast going up on legs and about 2 seconds going down.
