Why Do I Have A Warrent?

I got a ticket for driving on the wrong side of the freeway (looooong story) anyways like a week after i got the ticket the cop who gave me the ticket came to my house and he voided my ticket kuz he didnt have enough evidence so the DEA said he had to void it. Anyways today i got a letter stating i have a warrent out for my arrest kuz i didnt show up for the court date. Should i have a warrent if he voided the ticket and said everythings dropped?

You’d have to get a lawyer to know for certain…never a good idea to skip on a court date, no matter what a police officer might say (unless you get him in writing and on video).

Answer #2

I have witnesses that were there with me when he said it if that counts?

Answer #3

Possibly, but, you’ll still have to get a lawyer to sort it out…as there will probably be testimony from the cop as well as his / her partner.

Answer #5

I’d Figure Why Out He Voided It.. Beside Not Enough Evidence. There Has To Be Something There.. Something Isn’t Right.. BecauseThey Got Mad At You For Skipping Court Date. It’s Not So Good To Skip A Court Date. You Don’t Want These Types Of People Upset At You. Find A Lawyer. You Could Get Fines Now Because Someone Thinks You. In.. A Way Are Defying The Law. There Is Always Two Sides To A Story. The Cop Who Pulled You Over Will Testify As To What He Saw .

Answer #6

Should have gone to court any ways. You are always guilty till proven innocent in this country.
