Mom says I need to lose weight, boyfriend says I need to gain?

My mom is always telling me I need to lose weight and get active and look more like her I’m 15 years old, 4’11 and bout 104lbs. My boyfriend on he other hand wants me to stay the same or even gain weight because he loves my stomach, hes more important… but I live with my mom and constantly have to deal with being implied that im over weight… my boyfriend will love me no matter what… what do I do?

You’re not too skinny. You don’t need to gain weight. 104 is NOT underweight for a woman who is only 4’11. That said, you don’t need to lose any weight either. You’re average. Enjoy it.

well uhm roseboy, your very creepy

I think for a 15 year old thats a good weight, your much to young to worry about loosing weight and dieting!

Answer #4

You are definitely not overweight. If your happy with your body that is all that matters anyway. :)

Answer #5

Being 15 and 104 pounds is far from being over weight. If anything its under weight. You need to explain to your mom that she isn’t being fair comparing you to her and that you are happy being you and that is all that matters. I hope I helped you some. good luck<3

Answer #6

awwwh. well 104 lbs isnt over weight. you and your mom need a chat. tell her mom im not over weight. look up the weight for your age and show her. if she doesnt agree, convince her you are losing weight (even though you dont have to) and your next doctor app. tell the doctors whats up. he/she can tell your mom that your a perfectly normal, perfectly weighed teen.and maybe, just maybe she will realize what the doctor said was true. good luck!

People have different bodies. I’m 13 and I weigh 124lbs and I’m not fat plus I’m 4’11. Muscle weighs more than fat. Some of it may be water weight if you drink a lot.

DONT LOSE WEIGHT! your mom is CRAZY. I WISH I was 104 pounds and I’m like 5’ 5 and 14 years old. if she wants you 2 lose weight, you wud be like anorexic. it is likely that you will do some more growing. if you lose weight, you will be able 2 see yur ribs cause the meat will stretch to cover yur entire body. stay exactly the way you r. you’re short for your age, (no offense), so you shouldn’t weigh as much as other girls your age. if you think you r a little on the skinny side, eat a little more. dont do anything you dont feel comfortable doing to yourself, just because someone tells you to, no matter who, unless it’s a doctor, cause they know wuts healthy.

I think you shud confront yur mother, if you feel so strongly about this. she is out of control if she think you r overweight. how tall is she and how much does she weigh? wut does she look like/ wut did she look like at yur age/ she may be doing this to you cause she was overweight at yur age and is trying to stop you from making the same mistake, but doesnt’t know how 2 tell you. this may have to do with her more than you. ask her.

message me if you need more help. hoow luck!=D

Your boyfriend is more important. It’s him who has to find you attractive, if anything you sound underweight,if your stressinf about your weight maybe it would help if you let your boyfriend take charge of your diet. That way you can just put it out of your head and tell your mother that your happy the way you are.
