Umm…I can tell you that the Humane Societies and ASPCA’S all across the US are always looking for volunteers to help walking dogs, playing with the animals for excercise, feeding tje animals and even helping with things in the office. As for age, each may have individual guidelines for their facility. I believe those younger than the age they specify MAY get waivers signed by their parents granting them permission to help out there. As for finding the shelter closest to u, you are on your own. I can say dial 411 and ask for the Humane Society or ASPCA or SPCA. you should be able to locate one of them. I am a member of both organizations and I want to say thank you for wanting to come and help out and give love and attention to all of the sweet babies waiting for a good home to be adopted to.
