How can you get your voice back, after losing it?

Answer #1

At home? Gargle with salt water. Also warm water, honey and lemon helps to soothe the throat. I think there’s steroid shots they can use for the swelling (but doctors dont usually go around injecting people with this). Usually time fixes it. I lose my voice all the time. Just wait. Oh and dont talk while you’re sick. That makes it worse.

Oh. I’ve been like screaming on the 360 :) My bad.

Answer #3

Definantly drink honey with tea. Keep yourself hydrated and do what would be impossible for me- DON’T SPEAK.. at least don’t speak a lot. Also, get a humidifier. You need moisture to surround you so you can breathe in nice, condensation into your system and most of all, your throat. Taking showers where steam will rise will also help. It will extra help if you breathe a little deeper too, just don’t get light headed. =)

The more you speak the more the vocal chords become inflamed. You need to be very quiet. Steam also helps (boil some water, put a cloth over your head and over the water, breathe in for a little bit).
