Answer #1

It can upset your stomach, especially pills. I get a sore stomach from some vitamin pills. Rather try a calcium fizzy drink than a pill.

Answer #2

Answer #6

i think it depends on ur need. I take vit tablets and nothing happenes to me. Maybe u are allergic or irritated by 1 or more ingredients. I take such things as Vit C chewable tablets 500mg I take swisse Ultive for woman and Swisse hair skin and nails Evening Primrose, OMEGA 3 Fishoil (day time0 and Probiotic at night

Also it could be the way the calcium is processed that also dosent agree with ur body as different forms get absorbed better or more than others.

go to a naturopath or dietition to find out if ur reaslly needing calcuim tables cuz ur young just drink milk with add Vit D and etc and there are many food with calcium and they will teach u how best to exract the most calcium from each food.

U 19 usually guys like u get enough calcium. I think i do I drink 2 lt of milk per day well depends lol> < usually calcuim supplements are for Older people who can suffer from ostioporosis and easier braking of bones. XD

Answer #9

No. As long as you eat something before taking the supplement.

Answer #10

I can’t even take pills on a full stomach. Makes me sick as well :)

Answer #11

Calcium supplements are recommende dfor women in their early 20’s as that is the most crucial time for your bones in terms of building calcium and sets the foundation for the rest of your life. So it isn’t a good idea. Also you don’t have to be allergic to be sensitive to drinking pills. You could just have a sensitive stomach. But I do agree that you shouldn’t be taking them as a trend. Try get all your vitamins from your food and eat enough calcium rich foods (green vegetables and diary products).

Answer #12

by my experience it is better to have a tablet after having some food.
