How can I get rid of trojan virus ?

viruses and trojans will always be there. maybe you have heard about linux. try downloading some distributions like Ubuntu for example and burn it on a CD. you can boot your PC with it and if you don’t like it you can always go back to your old operating system. my two cents.

I would start by taking McAfee out of your system and don’t use Nortan either they will eat up you memory like A sumo wrestler at an all you can eat buffet. . . . Do like funguy says then Go to www.Trend.com and run the online antivirus it will do wonders THEN install Avast. . . it’s a free antivirus with a renewable 14 month licence. After all this look on Majorgeeks.com for any and all rootkit removers that are marked freeware. . . . goodluck. . .

Depends on the bug. Start with AdawareSE then add Spybot S&D which are both free programs. These work well with 80% of the bugs. Add CWSshredder and Hijackthis as well. CWShredder will get rid of the “cool web search” variants and Hijackthis can check for browser hijacks and will create logs of things attached to your browser(s). You are probably using Internet Explorer which is more prone to bugs than other browsers. Use Firefox or Oprah browser instead to keep bugs from getting on your computer in the computer.
