We've known each other for nearly 4 months, and we instantly clicked and flirted all over the place, according to my friends anyway.

The first time we met was a college event, and he was one of the voluntered dancers; he took my hand (We were just strangers to each other) and told me to dance along, and I said no playfully and he asked me again in a flirtous way.

We both got out of a very serious relationship back then, and when we first started talking properly was a month after that event took place and we flirted a bit. We both have went out together alone to have coffee and then wet to the cinema, he paid for everything and did the basic ‘dating’ moves things; like he baught one large popcorn and coke with two straw in it. We playfully pushed, tickled and threw popcorn at each other. Few days after he wanted to come down my house and meet my parents, I thought it was kind of wierd but he was determined even though I tried convincing him not to, but he met my mum and grandmother. We kissed before he met them and kissed again before he went home, we both said we liked each other but we were still not over our ex’s so we just said to take things real slow because of it. I didnt know what he really meant cause it was not like we were or are together.

We get along really well, and we understand each other. We both understand our situation and were both happy that we know we like each other but are still not over our past relationship. Hpwever that was likea month or 2 months ago. He sorted my ex out, as he was being childish with everything, threatning him because we were close and demanding me to pick between them when my ex was the one who kept seeing other people.

Sadly my granny passed away recently and what I noticed was he was always supporting me telling me that everything will be ok and that I just need to be strong. He even offered to go to the cermony with me and hold my hand to support me. But my ex didnt even bother. I told him about my gran and all he did was still upset that Im still close with the other guy when all I needed was comfort.

Because of this, I had to go home to our homeland in Asia. This guy told me that he’ll miss me while im gone, and when I came back to college, as soon as I stepped into the front gate I saw him running towards me giving me a big tight hug, lifting me up and he said he missed me. We then got talking, laughing and he invited me to all this things that arent gonna happen yet until a month or two. He then asked me if im still talking to my ex and I said no and asked him why, he smiled and said “just wondering”

What do you think is happening between us now? I dont know where I stand at the moment, and my friends wants me to go out with him, and he took his time to get to know them. His really sweet, funny, cute, fun, charming, cuddley, loveable and he spoils me which I find even cuter. Is there a spark between us or is it just me?
