Is there anything I should do before getting an updo at a salon?
Okay so I’m obsessed with hair, fashion, makeup, etc. So In other words, I always do my hair and I’m good at it. I NEVER let anyone do my hair for me ( not including hair cuts and stuff.. but just typical styling it ) because I can do it myself and i know I will always like it, and I can change it. My friends decided to book us all appointments before our dance tonight to get our hair curled and stuff ( I’m getting an updo ), and I’m scared it’s going to turn out bad. I want my hair to look like the picture i shared, but i have a certain way I curl my hair around my bangs and I don’t want the hair dresser messing it up. Any tips on what I can do/ say to her? I’m already bringing the picture with me, thanks!
Bring the picture with you for sure! and when it comes to your bangs you should ask the hairdresser if you can do them yourself because you only like the way you do it. Also don’t wash it today, hair that’s freshly washed doesn’t hold style as well as hair with a little bit of oil on it. Lastly, it’s your hair, don’t be afraid to speak up if you don’t like what you see!
