How to uninstall AC II?

i had only deleted the program files from my hard disk a few weeks earlier. Now i want to install it again but does not get removed from my programs list although i uninstaled it. Now it keeps asking to uninstal. How do i instal it back. Thanks in advance.

If you didn’t properly uninstall it in the first place, then there are still remnants of it in your hard drive…and since the uninstall application is probably gone, it will be tough to remove it. You can try a manual uninstall using the steps here: 1. Start - Run, type ntbackup.exe, - OK (just follow the instructions)… 2. Start - Run, type regedit in the Open field - OK… 3. Find your program in one of these areas: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE, or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE, or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES…you need to find the folder of the program you want to remove and delete it…..good luck.

do what colleen said but do it like this instead… open your registry with her number 2 option. now just ctrl+f to bring up teh find box and now just search for anything with ‘assassins creed’ and ‘ubisoft’ in teh name. delete the keys as necessary but dont be surprised if your there for 3 hours like i was with unreal tournament 3… after that or it doesnt matter you can do it 1st or 2nd show your hidden files and folders: control panel - folder options - view - show hidden files, folders and drives. now open up computer and look in the programe data folder and: users - yourname - appdata: and look for anything again with assassins creed and ubisoft in it and delete.
