Ubuntu uninstallation problem

I installed Ubuntu using the “install inside windows” option on the Ubuntu CD, where it makes a dual boot. I decided I didnt want it anymore so I went into the windows add/remove programs and uninstalled Ubuntu. but now whenever I start my computer it still does shows the dual boot menu. it still gives me the option to boot from windows xp or ubuntu. I really really want it off. please help!

Answer #1

I tried to install it to a usb flash drive so I could boot with it on other computers. so on the install inside windows option instead of selecting the main hard drive I selected my flash drive. a few hours later I uninstalled it but when I boot up my computer even if the flash drive isn’t in it still goes to the boot menu and it’s really frustrating.

Answer #2

I take it you installed it on the same hard drive and on the same hard drive partition then ?

Answer #3

I like it, but I want to take it off.
