Answer #1

he trinity is not true…its never stated or implied in the bible…infact the bibile speaks aainst it…the trinity is a pagan belife originating in the great city of babylon.. the center of false religious practices…the roman emperor constantine was a pagan before converting into a christian… he therefore began mixing christian teachings with pagan ones…this was fortold to happen in the bible and is the cause of all theses false teaching around in our day… the trinity is a teaching of man not god…y do you think no 1 can ever give a solid explenation or even proof of it …neverr..its not truu no 1 is higher than god..not his son, who he created… god is 1 jessu is another the hoy spirit isnt evn a being…it is gods hand…his active force wich he uses to accomplish anything

Answer #2

Its a contradiction…

To say that a MONOTHEISTIC religion, reveres a deity composed of THREE separate deities… but call them ONE. Yet they’ve spoken to each other… and many times refer to themselves as ‘’we’’

“it is a complex thing, you people don’t understand it. It intelligible only for priests, or great bible schollers”

That’s total bullshit… it doesn’t make sense to ANYONE. The people who CLAIM it makes sense… either simply DON’T QUESTION IT, or they KNOW it doesn’t make sense, but are good at PRETENDING it does. But when you discuss the Trinity with these people, the end conclusion is usually that it doesn’t make sense, and that they DON’T really understand it. Of course… they word it differently…

Christian: ‘’The Lord works in mysterious ways.’’

(TRANSLATION: ‘’I don’t know, and it doesn’t make any sense.’’)

Answer #3

What you are speaking about is the holy trinity… Christians believe in God, Jesus and the holy spirit (they basically see it as the same person..)

Answer #4

To a Christian, the ‘Trinity’ is 3 in 1 - made up of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (sometimes referred to as the Holy Spirit) - God the Father is in Heaven, at this time Jesus, the Son, is seated at the right hand of God - will return to earth at a time only God the Father knows - the Holy Spirit lives within every saved person.

Answer #5

well said.

Answer #6

The trinity is not a catholic term but a biblical term.

No it isn’t… in order for it to be a biblical term, it would have to be IN the Bible.

…so much for Christianity’s ‘monotheistic’ principles… and don’t forget to add MARY into the grouping of deities that Catholics revere… that’s (4) total so far…

Answer #7

God, Jesus, and the holy spirit.

Answer #8

Trinity is a Catholic term. Basically, we believe that there is one God. God consists of three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is often considered the Creator, the Son is considered the Saviour and the Holy Spirit is considered Wisdom. The Son - Jesus Christ - is also considered Love personified. Just because there are three persons, does not mean that they act as individuals. Whether you pray to Jesus, the Father or the Spirit, you are still praying to God, and God, in all parts, hears you.

Yes, the concept gets more and more complex, and there are scholars who spend their lives trying to understand it, but the basics are what you just read. There is a book called “The Shack” that does a good job of talking of God. It is a good read, too.

God is. Jesus, the Father, the Holy Spirit are all God. God is all three. God loves us.

Enjoy!

Answer #9

The trinity is not a catholic term but a biblical term. The three (Father Son and Holy Spirit) work as one. According to the bible when we get married ourselves along without spouse become one. It is not that they are the same person with split personalities but 3 seperate aspects working as God in harmony.

How judgemental… very cliche…

Answer #12

yeah, the term “trinity” is not in the bible. I believe it was the result of the nicene creed. not only does trinity mean three…but in christian terms it means that the three gods (jesus christ, heavenly father, and holy ghost) are actually one being. litterally.

if you ask me, the term trinity only adds further confusion to christianity.

Answer #13

The trinity is a belief that was never taught by Christ or His Apostles, instead was decided by councils of men whose arguements and discussions are very complex and hard to understand. Christ did say many times that He and His Father were one, but He did not mean that literally, otherwise who did He pray to? Who was He referring to when He said things like “My Father’s House” or “My Fathers kingdom”? And what about his baptism? He was in the water, there was a voice from heaven saying ‘this is my beloved son…’ and the Holy Ghost was seen in a form of a dove… that would be terribly confusing, even to the highly educated. But who did Christ preach the most to? the poor, the downtrodden, the sick, the beggars, the lowly and meek of heart. No, it is simple. They are one IN PURPOSE. If it was a mystery that God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one, then what was meant by the scripture “and this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” Emphasis on the KNOW THEE and the Whom thou hast sent. I know this is true.
