Ok, so my father recently hit his thumb, not the nail area of the thumb but, the area below it, the thumb is swollen and numb, he can still move it but its still numb and swollen
All that you can do is to try to move it, sometimes my arm gets numb so I move around until it feels better, but t should not last long, if it does best thing to do is to go get it checked out by a doctor.
How long has it been numb? If it's been more than a few days, he should see a doctor and have them check it out.
He should also avoid using it if he can. Less usage and strain should aid it in getting better.
