numbness in thumb

for the past 7 days my thumb has been numb. I went to my docter and didnt know what it was and said it will go away soon. has this happened to anybody please help. anybody have a clue whats going on.

I’ve had numbness in my hand before, which was due to a pinched nerve. (Pinched nerves can cause numbness, tingling or even burning pain.) It went away within a few days. It could be possible that you pinched a nerve, too? I’m not sure what the cause is for sure, so if it doesn’t get better, return to the doctor.
