Toothpaste works on pimple???

Hey I read a lot on how to get rid of pimples everyone seems to say use toothpaste I mean does it really wrk huh >???

Answer #1

Toothpaste works on pimples because usually it has some kind of cleansing alcohol in it and baking soda. These together dry out pimples. Also the paste constancy will let it stay on your face all night. However, drying your skin too much is bad for it so if you are going to use toothpaste only spot treat.

It actually worked for me…maybe I’m a rare exception. The toothpaste HAS to be PASTE though and not gel. So if you do try it, make sure it doesn’t say gel anywhere on the label. And it did sting when I tried a minty flavored one, but original didn’t sting.

I don’t know, like I said, it worked for me, but I could be an exception.

Also, a paste make of milk and cinnamon helped reduce the swelling and redness on me too. You just take a little bit of cinnamon and add enough milk to make it pasty and then put it on your face and leave it on overnight.

Answer #3

Not realy, what its actully for is like burns or pimples that sting because whe you put tooth paste on, it cools down the burn. IT DEFFINETLY NOT FOR PIMPLESS. Just a wase of tooth paste

O.o

Its for Burns. . . . Good Luck!

Answer #4

I tried it. it made no difference at all. just a wastee of toothpastee

Answer #5

my older brother tried it one time and he never did it again.. it works the bad thing is that it burns the pimple and leaves an ugly spot there for weeks. I mean you can try it but I think that if you have a pimple you should buy the noxema cream it works on me and I have an oily facee I do sports and I use make up everyday and it really works for me my face is clearrr. :)

Answer #6

IT BURNS. AND LEAVES AN UGLY MARK. USE A PROPER FACE CREAM.
