I think I like Dr. Seuss’s quote best, “I speak for the trees for the trees have no tongues.”

Just wanted to ad that…

Answer #6

I am all for SELECTIVE harvesting- as long as we REPLACE what we use. the old growth trees I would hug, the fresh young ones- CUT.

so I am indifferent towards the slogan.

whatever works for you.

Answer #7

Look around there are billions of trees out there…Trees are for cutting! We won’t run out of trees. I live in Colorado and there is trees everywhere…I think God would want us to use what he has made for us and also enjoy his creation…that is what I think.

God Bless.

Answer #8

I’m in favor of smart forest management. Even the American Indians managed forests by cutting down trees or doing controlled burns. The timber industry can, and in some cases does, do the same. Deforestation is a global problem, though.

All that being said, I think the slogan is kind of stupid.

Answer #9

I think its alright…a little forward…I love nature but I wouldnt consider myself a tree hugger ! its a little much but if I didnt care I think Trees are for cutting Not for hugging would be pretty funny

Answer #10

I don’t understand why people would want to cut trees, as without them we will die. Doesn’t anybody know that trees and plants convert the carbon dioxide we breathe out into oxygen so that we can breathe??? Cutting down trees is not only devastating to the environment and the animals, but if you are cruel and don’t care about the poor animals then at least don’t support cutting trees because it’s bad for humans too.
