This is a tough one. Can it work out? Please, opinions.

I am 14 years old. I have a friend who is going to be 17 in October. And I like him. A lot. We talk on the phone probably once a week and we text almost everyday. We always seem to run out of things to say on the phone and when we are texting. We’ve hung out I think 3 times, once just the two of us (EPIC DAY :D) but it wasn’t a date. We go to the same school but we aren’t in any of the same classes. I don’t go over and see him at lunch, too scared I think. He has an idea that I like him because he is friends with one of my friends and he mentioned it to her. He also has his eyes on this girl in one of his classes, but I’m not sure how much he likes her because he doesn’t tell me any of this stuff, he just tells my friend (she’s been friends with him longer than I have, she introduced me). I just need your opinions, advice etc. on whether or not you think this could go anywhere and what I should do to make it happen. I am also aware that that is kinda a big age difference, and that may be another conflict. It seems to me that I am a lot more into him than he is into me, but I’m not going anywhere to use the word ‘love’, even though I do think of his almost all the time. With all that said, PLEASE HELP!!!
