Why all the exclusivity in LDS? Nonmembers can’t step inside a temple.
You can not step inside of a temple, but they open their church doors and welcome anyone.
Because the temple is sacred and in order to become a member of the church you need to be baptized, and be wirthy enogh to enter the temple. But, the church welcomes people who are non members in the church building.
