Which is better - tea that you make yourself from mix in a can, or pop?

is it a great difference in healthy-ness?

Answer #1

Well, with the tea you make yourself, you can control the amount sugar you use if you want it sweetended so if you use less it could be healthier.

Answer #2

Soda is terrible for you. In addition to being high in sugar, sodas are quite acid. Colas use phosphoric acid to add tartness to keep them from being cloyingly sweet. Lemon lime soda uses citric acid and grape soda uses tartaric acid for the same purpose. All sodas are acidic enough to attack tooth enamel. Our bodies can only function in a narrow pH range and to neutralize these acids it draws calcium out of bones which contributed to osteoporosis. I’m not saying to never drink a soda again but it is something that should be enjoyed in moderation. Dentists recommend drinking soda through a straw to reduce its contact with teeth. If you are making sweet tea from powder than you should check to see how much sugar it has. I find brewed tea is much better than instant and I like it unsweetened with just a squeeze of lemon or lime. If you like yours sweet consider using a stevia based sweetener. Stevia is an herbal sweetener that has no calories, does not spike insulin like artificial sweeteners, and has a long history of safe use around the world.

Answer #3

Tea all the way <3 Especially if you make it yourself, as said - you’d be aware of what’s in it. As for sodas have loads of sugars and acid that effect the layers of your teeth. Eventhough some teas do create and cause teeth stains, not all do, it’s mostly black tea that does.

Answer #4

Homemade tea is definitely the healthiest because you can control the amount of sugar or even use substitute sugars such as Splenda or sweet-n-low but if you like tea sweet it can cost you the extra healthiness so if you like tea sweeter go with like Arizona ice tea or Arizona sweet tea soda isn’t much worse for you though the sugar amongst other things in it can make your teeth a yellowish color

Answer #5

take a gallon glass jug fill with water and put 6 to 8 tea bags in jar, close lid and sit outside for a couple of hours. next put sugar in jar to taste
