Swollen earlobe

My son is 7 years old. Yesterdarday he woke up complaining that his ear was itchy. I thought that it could have been a insect bite or something. When he woke up the next morning his ear lobe (not his inner, or middle ear) was red and swollen with tiny papules and clear puss like fuid leaking out. He is not complaining of any pain, or itching. I believe I have seen this before somewhere but cannot remember from where or when. Has anyone ever experienced this and if so what may be the cause?

you should take him to a doctor they will be able to figure out whats wrong with his ear
