Always talk to your doctor first about your health issues. Hyperhidrosis (over sweating) could have serious underlying causes that may require surgery or antibiotics in severe cases. Only your health care provider can diagnose these types of issues. If your doctor should deem your sweating is abnormal, ask him/her about Drysol. Drysol is aluminum chloride hexahydrate and when applied to the underarms works to block the sweat glands and plug the pores. It is a prescription medication and should only be used with a doctor’s guidance. There are many prescription strength formulas on the market. You may need to try several to find the best one for your system Your doctor may suggest an in office surgical or laser treatment. Check your local drug store or grocery store for an antiperspirant/deodorant. Make sure it says antiperspirant on the label. Try a few and determine if any of them reduce the amount you sweat. Different formulas may react with your body chemistry. Look for clinical strength formulas. If you aren’t having any luck with any formula you should ask your doctor for a prescription strength antiperspirant. Try wearing a plain, white, 100% cotton t-shirt underneath your normal shirts. This will be your first line of defense against sweat puddles forming on your outer shirt. Also, the white t-shirts are easy to bleach/oxy-clean the stains out of. Remember that if it happens to be your feet that are sweating excessively, try taking an extra pair of shoes and socks with you in the morning. Change both about halfway through your day. While it won’t eliminate the sweating it will keep your feet dry. Make sure you shower/bathe regularly. This will help to minimize effects of over-sweating. By showering as needed you can eliminate as much of the bacteria that causes body odor. If you do sweat while you’re clean you won’t smell as much as sweating when you’re dirty. Try anti-bacterial soaps to kill additional bacteria while you shower. Maintain body hair. You may find with reducing your body hair you can control body odors associated with over-sweating. Hair traps a lot of the bacteria and oils that cause odor when combined with perspiration. Drink plenty of water. It both dilutes the concentration of your bodily effluents and it cleanses the whole system. Check the weather forecast each day and dress appropriately. Invest in a small fan to keep in your work area. You may sweat less because it is cooler and the air circulation will help perspiration to evaporate faster. Watch your weight. Heavier people have a harder time cooling themselves and may perspire more. Try getting to a healthy weight and your perspiration issues may solve themselves. http://www.wikihow.com/Avoid-Sweating-Too-Much
