Does anyone Know what this is ?

My boyfriend keeps telling me that he has a thing called “Porethus” I looked it up and I cant find anything on it :s

He said that when he was younger he couldnt get out of bed because porethus makes your hip really sore and you cant move .

I cant find anythin on it, does anyone know what it is I’m starting to think hes lying

It’s called “Perthes” and it does exist.
