who thinks the battle of iraq should stop

who thinks the battle of iraq should stop and no one else should get killed

Answer #1

It’s cost $10 billion per month. It is going to stop but it’s going to take time. Think of how many schools and bridges that money could have been used for here!

Answer #2

LOL. the war in Iraq was over when saddam hussein was executed and we destroyed his fleeing army with ease. its no longer a war its just peacekeeping. the only war the US is in now is the war on terrorism.

Answer #3

No, the president is not a civilian’s commander in chief. He is commander in chief over the military, and the military alone. Take a look at your constitution again.

Answer #4

* I think it should stop, but if we leave now, it will look like we’re running with our tails between our legs.

Wonderful idea. I assume that means you’ve enlisted?

Answer #5

hivetyrant - freefromself stated that he was going into the military. Take a look at his answer again. That is why I stated that the President was his Commander in Chief AND his President. geez…

Answer #6

I Think They should stop the damn war do yall agree wit me that will be more lifes around the world stop the damn war

Answer #7

I guess we have been way too hard on the poor al qaeda fighters over there, they deserve a break from fighting so they can recruit more fighters and prepare another attack on the US. it really was unjust of us to start killing them.

ok enough of the crap- I think we should continue fighting in iraq, what about all of the innocent people over here that got killed ? I say if they want to be a terrorist and a martyr- then lets give them their wish. keep shooting till they finally give up. so maybe a petition from the youth of the US to bin laden to give himself up and all of his associates??? that is the direction people need to go to stop the war, not try to get the people who are fighting for us to just quit.

Answer #8

I think it should stop, but if we leave now, it will look like we’re running with our tails between our legs.

We have to ensure that the country is at least partially stable, and make sure the Iraqi military is ready to take on its duties, or everything that we’ve done up to this point would be a waste. People still support Saddam because he was one of the most powerful individuals in the Middle East, and you don’t get their from being stupid. His organization still exists, and as soon as we leave, the insurgency will go on a major offensive. History teaches us this.

Answer #9

Im going to Iraq soon. You people have no Idea what you are talking about. I will post from Iraq when I get there.

85% Iraqi’s feel safer now then when Saddam was in power. 75% of Iraqi’s feel like Democracy has a real chance there. They have had 3 free elections since the start, and they have a higher voter turnout than the U.S. Even YOUR liberal President admits Iraq is a SUCCESS!

Stop all of your hippie propaganda your grandparents are teaching you and do some research of your own.

Answer #10

For all of you flag wavers that think only hippies (how 60s) and flag burners are against the war…

My son, a decorated, now disabled airborne ranger (and I think was can all agree that they are brave and tough soldiers) from the War in Iraq…says that we SHOULD get out of Iraq. That it has been poorly operated from the start (and he should know, he was in the first wave). That we SHOULD have been putting the effort into Afganistan. That if we wanted to actually go after the Taliban, Iraq is the wrong place to be.

And to freefromself - the President is YOUR Commander in Chief and YOUR President. Yes do write us from Iraq, especially when you find the picture not quite as great as painted.
