Stunts:Cradling???
Hey! Im in cheer, and im a base Does anyone have any advice on cradling?? Thanks :)
dont be afraid, be very tight about it. make sure you smile :] have fun hope I helped

You need to pop your flyer from your knees. You can’t put all the work in your arms. Bend your knees when you pop your flyer so that the cradle has power and she can get the height she needs. This is especially useful when she starts doing more difficult stuff such as twisting down.

Don’t be afraid to catch her nor take a few scratches for her. Cradling is the very basic, so you shouldn’t have much problem with catching her. YOUR FLYER’S SAFETY IS FIRST. She’s the one in the air, so you need to be there to catch her at all times.
Hope this helps :)
Uhm im the flyer in my stunt group. Flyers cradel not bases. Butyou have to make sure the flyer is locked out everywhere Knees butt legs arms and their squeezing their stomach they have to stay locked out while you cradel them. DO NOT let them jump out of the stunt.(as in help you throw her up) you do all the work. When she drops into your arms she should grab by your neck but like your shoulders. As for you bases come close together grab her full body The backspot grabs under her arms its your job to grab her back and legs. Whatever you do don’t drop her.
