Dear cutecutiepiecute, unfortunately thedude is right but why have you not been able to go to college with a knee injury? I enrolled, was accepted and had a knee injury, went through a knee operation while I was in college. Sue…good luck

I’m going to make a couple observational guesses. I’m going to guess that you were originally granted a scholarship. I’m also going to guess that because you were expecting the scholarship, that you had little to no need to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If you have already filled out the application, then all that you have to do is to go to the financial aid office and apply for a loan. Yes, you have to be accepted, but it sounds as if you already were accepted. And if your acceptance was contingent upon a sports scholarship. However, as much as they may try they cannot deny your admittance even if you cannot play anymore.

If you have not filled out the FAFSA, then do it right away and go next semester.

In the meantime you can go to Community College.

Peace, Brian

You need to be enrolled & accepted into a college before you can get a student loan.
