Stuck in a nightmare

I’m staying with my grandparents for two months while I finish up classes. (My dad and bro are too)

My grandparents aren't your average people...they are more on the bitter hateful side. I have the hardest time dealing with two people who cut me down and yell at me for the stupidest things. I want so badly to tell them how I feel and smack them on the head with a shovel ...LOL...this is my 5th day here and it gets worse and worse...:(

SHould I talk to them or deal with it...getting picked on and blamed for things I don't mean to do or don't do? If I talk to them they will flip out...but I WILL NOT stand for being belitted and embarrassed by their accusations.

HELP???

I had a similar experiance when my illness prevented me from going to college and I had to quit my job. My dad made my life hell and my grandmother who I practically worship really hurt me. I went right down to the bottom until one day it just hit me, they have no right to put me down! Im doing well as I am and I know that. Other members of my family were telling me that im not a failure and I finally listned to them. Yes its hard not to lash out but it will make things worse, I promise you that. As its only temporary then id say stick it out and talk to a trusted friend or family member, remember a problem shared is a problem halved :) Good luck hun

Answer #3

don’t smack anyone, just avoid them as much as you can, after all, they are part of your family and would make no sense to smack anyone from it

Answer #4

ah tell your dad and bro say if dont take me out this place ill go myself and if that dont work tell your granparents about say your given me a really hard time

Answer #5

Since it’s temporary, just buck up…there is light at the end of the tunnel.
