does this sound like a reaction to a minor allergy?

Before anyone says go to a doctor, I’m in a different country, I don’t speak the language, not many people speak English here, and so I’d rather try a few things myself first before resorting to a doctor. I’ve been getting random really bad chapped lips. I stay pretty hydrated drink a ton of water a day, not to mention I’m in a rather humid area right now. Nothing helps with it, not ChapStick, Vaseline, nothing. In addition I’ve been getting bumps all over my skin. Some are a little red some, skin colored, some are tiny some are a little bigger. Some of them itch, other ones I only noticed by looking.

Answer #1

Well I suggest if you know someone who speaks the language I would call a pharmacy, I have never heard of those symptoms before

Answer #2

Janice, I hope you’ve arranged to see a doctor by now? Could be just an allergy, but it also sounds a bit like it might be shingles, a virus that quickly gets very serious if left untreated.

Answer #3

try putting extra virgin olive oil on your lips. the vitamin e will sooth your lips and the fattiness of the oil will make your lips soft.
