What sort of items can I substitute into my diet to help keep me regular?

Yes, I hate asking this question but honestly I could use some advice. I am a poor college student and I literally live off of ramen noodles, hot pockets, and the big packs of chips from sam’s (it’s cheap). I can’t really afford to spend money on going to restaurants to eat and spending gas to drive home for meals is just to expensive. (I live near my grandmother but she has to have people tend to her she doesn’t cook and my parents live about 45 mins away). I need something to keep me going right because I have quite literally become chronically constipated (I know it’s gross) and it sucks, I go to the bathroom about twice a week to take a shit and it’s nothing to rave about. What this usually ends up with is about after a week to a week and a half of this procedure I get stomach cramps and my body is like no more room and evacuates my bowels (it’s quite painful and most annoying). I know this process couldn’t be good for me but I’m just not sure what’s cheap and good for my body. Any suggestions will be gladly accepted. Thank you.

Your main problem is yourbad diet…your missing the important parts of the food group and the fiber and vitamins that help your digestive system. You can still eat healthy for cheap, go by farmers markets and fruit stands…extremely cheap and healthy food. Some things that can help regulate you are bran flakes, granola, banana, cranberry juice, dried prunes and prune juice, fruits and veggies, fiber bars, nuts and legumes, yogurt, whole grains, and raisons.

Thanks I made a list, I’m gonna go to the store today and maybe drive around to try to find a farmers market. :D
