Songwriting

I have to write a song for a friend of mine he is form cuba and he sings in spanish only so he asked me if I can write one in english for him, he can speak english but cant write a good song in english, and I dont know anything personal bout him, what can I write about for him???
Plus I wanna write it too.

Haha! I have the opposite problem, I’m getting my spanish friend to help me write a spanish song and its quite difficult. Just ask him what sort of stuff he wants the song to be about
