Softball Play In Hs or my age group??? HELP!!

This fall I was the starting pitcher for our varsity team. I’m an 8th grader. But this summer we have a really crummy coach who teaches nothing. Should I go down 2 7th and 8th softball or stay up in high school and pray he’s nicer. Last year as a 7th grader we didnt have enough 4 a team so he said we could practice wit him and all he had us do was run bases. Im afraid he will b unfair again. So what should I do.

I play softball on a travel team too! I truely enjoy the sport! I think you should stay up in highschool because the coach will learn with you
