What do you think I should do? Play softball? Or sit out?

I play rep softball, and have injuried my back, I can either take 4 weeks offf now, and get my back feeling good enough to play but with some pain threw the whole season. Or I can sit out this season? And heal my back? Im quite competitve but I dont no what to do? I’ve been playing for 10 years. And want your guys advice?

Answer #1

Depends what the doc says. but if you are good then go for it. I hurt my knee last year and have played 2 lacrosse seasons on it and after this one I need to get knee surgery to repair it but if you can play without injuring yourself more go for it.

I would take the season off to let your back heal. it’ll suck at first, but in the end it will be the better choice. plus you can still always watch the games

Answer #3

Only you know how you feel. If it hurts don’t play because you can really mess something up for life. (It’s a back) I’ve been in sports my whole life that’s the best to go it really depends on how you feel. So take a good look at that
