What can my sister do about her 5 day old baby teething?

Because I know she was told he’s to young for any form of medicine because he was only born last saterday.

5 days, jeez. Sorry I read 5 months. Best ask the pharmacist or doctor, but babies of 5 days can take panado (paracetamol) syrup, that should help.

Maybe a chew rag?

Poor thing … definitely get something cool for him - a damp cloth put in the freezer for a bit should help.

they sell gell teething rings you can put in the freezer or fridge. the old school answer is putting a drop of rum on the nipple of there bottles but that’s frowned on these days.

buy him humphrey I think thats how you spell it but its real good they will come out faster and a little less painless .. either way when teething its still going to hurt even with medicine … but hope this helps :)
