is there such a thing as getting signs from god?

well ijust really didnt know what to do with my ex either give him anothr chance or not so i just asked for a sign and…he texted me like RIGHT after…he hadnt texted me in months

I think that entirely depends on your religious beliefs. I personally don’t believe that you can get signs from God, but this is due to me not quite believing in God. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that your ex texted you because they wanted to, not because of a God. But again, this is just what I believe.

i think that there is such a thing as coincidence, not signs from god. most miracles can be explained away through science. but then again i’ve never experienced a miracle, so i wouldn’t really know. but i get coincidences all the time, like picking up my phone and it rings, or singing a song, turning on the radio and that song comes on. things like that. just coincidence in my opinion

One can INTERPRET something as a sign from god. Self delusion is easy, all you have to do is have a strong desire for it and your mind will latch onto something and -BINGO- you have a sign.

i personally believe God does give us signs, but only when the timing is right and when He feels we are ready for them. so to answer your question, yes, there is such a thing as getting a sign from God

when God wants your attention, He will find a way to get it.

First, believe in the world that there is meaning behind everything. God is merciful to those whom He sees struggling heart and soul for realization. But remain idle, without any struggle, and you will see that His grace will never come. God may come at any time in any form, nobody can limit Him, and help you, you may not even realize it was actually Him.

Well my friend claims she saw God in chapel awhile ago, she described what form he came in and THAT was freaky. I personally do just bcuz whenever I pray for an answer to a problem im facing than it always comes, usually in my favor. When you become a Christian your whole mind is opened up to God. It’s a feeling I cant really describe. It’s amazing and pretty soon you start mellowing out and realizing that whatever problem you face God will help you. That’s always been the case with me. Life is so much easier. I consider that a pretty big sign

God does not want us to rely on signs from Him. If you belive that God exist you will also know that satan exist too. With signs lies the danger of Satan’s counterfeits that can lead to confusion.

Only if you believe in it. Believers always claim to have signs from their god’s, yet those signs never appear to non-believers for some reason……

Sometimes i get them. I certain time or the way light its something or the nature…when it all conects i feel every good emotion all at one time for at least one minute. I feel like a strong beautiful loved girl for only thirty seconds. Its a feeling of pure hope i get. I know when god is around or heavens gates…trust me..i know…the feeling is undescribable

Really it depends on how you think about it. If you want to see signs from God you can take anything as a sign. Oh I got an A on my test yay God loves me. Or in Fred Phelps case (the leader of the Westburro Baptist Church) Oh soldiers are dying and a liberal congress women has been shot, yay god is showing us a sign. It’s all people’s perception.
