Is pop bad for you?

Is Pop Bad for you? I think it makes me gain weight. So should I drink it?

Pop is very unhealthy. If you drink pop regularly and then stop you can actually lose up to 5 pounds in a week. You could also get addicted to caffine which is what happened to me, so now I drink coffee instead. The only benefit that I see at all is that the caffine gives your metabolism a boost.

why would anyone need to ask this question?! cant you read the nurtitional content? didnt your parents or dentist say it will rot your teeth?! think about it… if it rots your teeth what the heck will it do to your BUTT!

Soda pop, fizzy drinks, have no nutritional value. They contain about 10-15 teaspoons of sugar. It;s bad for you, but so are chocolate bars and chips, but we still consume them.

I think of pop as liquid candy. It is empty calories with no nutritional value.

Soda pop also has phosphoric acid which leaches calcium from your bones.

The sugar in soda pop causes all sorts of problems from cavities, to blood sugar and insulin spikes.

I enjoy a soda every now and then but I make it an occasional treat rather than a usual beverage.

just dont drink its fine every once in a while but it dehydrates you and the caffeine salt sugar and other ingredints arent exactly good for you your best bet is water milk and juices

pop is soda in many states. fizzy drink in england.. lol. Canada and some US states call it pop. Coca cola, pepsi, etc

Moderation is key, especially concerning pop as there are quite a few bad side affects. Such as high blood sugar, (sometimes leading to diabetes), caffiene and its side effects such as nausa, chest pains, psychological and physical addiction, causes weight gain because of the empty calories, and extreme amount of sugar. For the amount of good pop does, it doesnt seem to weight out the bad, however pop and many things that are bad for us, become the norm and pattern of our lives, and its often difficult to rearrange these patterns. The best idea is to cut down, by however much suits you, in the end, its not terrible damage, just as much as basically everything else in our lives can do, but its just not the best. Lastly, I recently read an article saying that if this one certain chemical wasnt in pop, we would vomit it up automatically because its very hard on our stomach.
